Welcome to International Resort Club’s Conventions page.

This page represents one of the many ways we market and advertise vacation ownership here at International Resort Club. A convention center is a large building that is designed to hold a convention, where individuals and groups gather to promote and share common interests. Conventions in general bring in thousands and thousand of people to one place for a common purpose. Convention centers typically have at least one auditorium and may also contain concert halls, lecture halls, meeting rooms, and conference rooms. Some large resort area hotels include a convention center on site. Whether it be to show people their newest product line, to let consumers know what their company has in store for the future, or just to advertise their current products or services, conventions are a great way for people to meet face to face to achieve these goals and much, much more. This gives us a fantastic opportunity to meet with these companies in person and talk about something that goes hand in hand with these conventions: Accommodations! These companies travel for each convention, and in turn, need somewhere to stay. We show them how they can book resort stays, get bigger units which house more people, nicer accommodations, tons of extra amenities, and save money at the same time. It’s a win-win for everyone involved.

This page features just 12 of the many convention centers scattered across the nation, each one offering a unique and personalized experience for companies and travelers alike. The cities that surround each convention center help to bring this unique and personalized experience to life. Host cities are usually some of the larger cities in the nation and offer a vast array of activities that help to satisfy the thousands of attendees for each convention show. Host cities also tend to have resort properties to help house the millions of people that come in and out of their respected locations on a yearly basis. This gives us a great opportunity to offer these travelers resort accommodations instead of staying in a standard hotel. A resort typically tries to provide most of a traveler’s wants, such as food, drink, lodging, sports, entertainment, and shopping, on the premises. There are more than 1500 timeshare resorts in the United States that are operated by major hospitality, timeshare-specific, or independent companies. They represent 198,000 residences and nearly 9 million owners. A reported 16% of the residences became vacation rentals. So, whether you are a corporate traveler attending a convention show, a leisure traveler looking to enjoy yourself, or maybe a mixture of both, resort accommodations can provide something for everyone either on site or in their surrounding cities.
